When I sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai,
I am hidden in the strength of God Most High.
He’s the hope that holds me,
and the Stronghold to shelter me,
the only God for me,
and my great Confidence.
He will rescue me
from every hidden trap of the enemy,
and he will protect me
from false accusation and
any deadly curse.
His massive arms
are wrapped around me,
I can run under
His arms of faithfulness
are a shield
keeping me from harm.
Psalm 91:1-4 The Passion Translation
Yes, not only is this the protection we have in God but he brings people into our lives who are this to us, as well.
He’s a very personal God and a good Father.
Let’s be open to what He’s doing and not how we think things should go or what they should look like, according to our own understanding.
One never knows when they’ll be called to go into “the chambers”—that place of authentic and safe connection.
Once invited in, we can go anytime. We have been given a direct line; direct access.
Access is not denied! We now have access. What a privilege and a great honor.
And we know that, as sons & daughters, we are given “keys”, a place at the table BECAUSE we have been invited.
Because we have been invited, and we have given our “yes”, we can help ourselves to the food in the fridge without needing permission.
Because we have been invited, and have said, “Yes”, we don’t have to call before we come over or come in.
We can bring gifts as well as receive gifts.
Because… we have been invited; we said “Yes”, and we live in the house with Him.
Because…we are now family.
Because…we all live in the same House.
We also have “invitation privileges”. We can invite others over. We can invite them in. We must inquire of The Father first, however.
is given a “key”
to the house,
nor has access
into His Chambers.
As His Bride, we are “told stuff” that friends, children, servants, and slaves know not of.
We can share our true selves and what’s really on our hearts, free from fear and recrimination.
Secrets and mysteries are shared and there are life-giving exchanges that lead to joy and hopeful outcomes.
We are brought in under the protective shadow of His Wings.
Welcomed with open arms!
God is not some entity far away. He is near to us. Living in us.
He has adopted us as His own.
Let’s “see”, embrace, accept, and serve who He brings into our lives to be “as Him; OF Him”.
Not because of anyone’s good works, but because of Who He Is and who we are in Him. Then, He truly gets the glory.
This way of living with others isn’t of our doing, but His doing. It doesn’t lead to decay but to LIFE, PEACE, & a SECURITY that passes our own understanding.
