Why are abusers being protected, defended, and advocated for in our church cultures in the Laguna Madre Region while victims and survivors are blamed and called all sorts of disparaging names?
Why are victims and survivors being falsely accused of lying about attacks, being blamed for causing the attack, EVEN THOUGH the number of victims of the attacker form a long line in the abuser’s life?
What deception are we dealing with here?
What is additionally frightening is how these church ecosystems are connected with schools–where children are–and these schools are attached to the dysfunctional, toxic ecosystem of the gathering.
Visitors wanting their children to attend Christian schools in this Region are citing only ONE SCHOOL in operation that, despite attempts to completely overhaul the original name and identity of a church that has been here for generations, there is a healthy, positive atmosphere in the Christian school at First Baptist Port Isabel in Port Isabel, Texas.
The one close to home here receives consistent criticism of “having an oppressive atmosphere”, “having heavy witchcraft, especially at the high school level”, and other terrible observations.
If a body of people are going to choose–to make the choice of selfishness–to continue coddling, defending, enabling, and advocating FOR abusers and AGAINST their victims and the survivors of their abuses, THEN, what do we expect?
Legitimate criticisms will continue and these criticism are justified and even righteous.
Yes, dare I say it. The false message, prayers, and teaching that we should just “turn the other cheek”, and “love covers a multitude of sins” so just….what?
Just keep covering abusers and abuses in our local body–our churches? Because that’s what “love” would do?
LOVE–Who Is Jesus–God is Love—is NOT in agreement with such foolish and futile thinking.
Because He wants to deliver us off of roads of unrighteousness, depravity, and choices that lead to decay.
We place the entire Region at risk when we coddle, make excuses, enable, and advocate for systemic abuse and abusers in The Laguna MADRE Region.
The true Mothers of this Region–and the true Fathers–aren’t buying in to the gross lack of protection, advocacy, and support for victims found here in the Laguna Madre Region.
True, spiritual and civic leaders won’t either.
Scripture text: Isaiah 30:1 and a word of encouragement from The Father’s Heart Ministries
Songs: “Awesome God” by Rich Mullins and “Good Good Father” by Housefires II.
“The Father says today, you cannot solve the problem on the level of the problem. You cannot bring peace in the midst of conflict. You cannot bring healing where only corruption and contamination of spirit reign. These things are the distraction of the enemy to take your eyes off of who I am and what I am doing to free and liberate you. Don’t look at these things beloved, look to Me and live. Pull yourself away from all those things demanding your attention and just look to Me. Look to Me saying, “Father, you are My refiner…” Look to Me and say, “Father, you are My relief and My deliverance…” For I am refining you and I am delivering you and I am bringing you relief in the midst of the trial.
You cannot solve the problem on the level of the problem, says God. You must ascend above the problem on the wings of your faith, no longer trembling and uncertain. Just because you don’t know what to do doesn’t mean you aren’t going to get through this. Do you trust Me? Let Me take it from here. Do you trust Me? Then go low and just worship Me till the scourge that comes at noon day passes over you. Till the arrows of the enemy whiz past you and fail to find their mark. I am hiding you. I am keeping you. You are coming out on the other side of things without even the smell of smoke on your garments.”/End.
Forgiveness for the fathers and mothers who have not believed their spiritual, biological, and/or adopted children when abuse and abusers have been reported.
Prayer to STOP the victim-blaming when abusers and abusive practitioners are allowed to attack.
Prayer to STOP the cycle of abuse transpiring in our church cultures and ecosytems and to STOP the merry-go-round/carousel abusers have people on when we are caught up in their dysfunctional cycles.
Prayer to break and dismantle the “trauma-bonds” that groups in the eco-systems of our churches have with each other, further perpetuating the cycle of abuse with people attending fellowship gatherings as well as newcomers.
When we fail to protect victims and survivors of abuse and abusers, this ensues.
Controllers, handlers, and programmers operate at high levels of the occult.
